Holy smoke! Just when you thought Mrs. Bill Clinton was down for good, her campaign was suddenly jolted back to life last night with two big wins in Ohio and Texas, and one tiny win in Rhode Island. Had she not won at least one of the big states she would have been dead meat this morning, but winning both was like getting a fresh transfusion of blood back into her veins.
For whatever it's worth, Mr. Obama also picked up the People's Republic of Vermont, which I guess is cool if you like maple syrup, but Ohio was the prize he was hoping for. Even though he's still leading in the primary count and has more delegates, he certainly not out of the woods. Now that Mrs. Bill Clinton has risen from the dead to break his winning streak, for the first time in weeks she probably looks a lot scarier in his rear view mirror. If Mr. Obama wants to stay alive in this race he's going to have to drive a spike through her heart in Pennsylvania next month or she'll end up haunting him all the way to the convention.
This morning there was a little rumor floating around of a possible Clinton- Obama ticket. Good God, what kind of unholy alliance are we talking about here?
This whole thing is starting to give me the creeps.
Mr. O, you better starting running for your life-- and don't look back,
Hill and Bill are right behind you!
But hey, what do I know, I'm just a dog.
