May the green be with us..

There's an old expression that say's: Everyone is a wee bit Irish
on St. Patrick's Day.
So quick, get your kids off the road! . . . . No, just kidding.

St. Patrick's Day is one of my favorite holidays because to me it means spring is just around the corner. Of course being part Irish myself I'm totally down with Saint Pat, since no one has yet declared a holiday called Bearded Collie Day.

So tomorrow while Dad's at work, crawling around on his hands and knees, trying to hang wallpaper behind somebody's filthy toilet, Marley, Zoe and I will be celebrating here at home, watching the the big
St. Patrick's Day parade on Mom & Dad's new 42" flat screen, while snacking on treats and wearing our best green bandanas. Later, after a short nap we'll probably spend a some time running around outside with the green Frisbee, while barking our heads off. Not that it has anything to do with the holiday, we would do that just for fun anyway.

Then hopefully tomorrow night, Dad will think to throw a little corned beef in with our dog food, just to be extra nice. Come to think of it, a little splash Guinness might be kind of nice as well, but I don't want to get my hopes up.

So today I'd Just like to wish my family, and my friends, wherever they may be, a happy, safe, and health St. Patrick's Day; especially my Mom, who's far, far away working in China this week.

Come home soon Mom, can't wait to see you!
Bring me home something that squeaks!

*
And so may I say:
Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone,
and may the luck of the Irish be with us all.
*
Especially you Aunt Diane.

Hey, was this the New York Parade
or the one in San Francisco?

Dear Reils:

I think every day should be Bearded Collie Day!!!

Can't wait 'til you come for a visit and pull me around the block again. (It was a lot of fun for me, and the neighbors got a big kick out of it.)

Miss you...Love,

Aunt Diane
